Sailing in at #3 on my countdown of Locations I Love for Senior Photos is the up-and-coming Harbor Point area of Stamford.

Known for its trendy restaurants, rooftop bars and towering waterfront condos, this urban oasis is the perfect place for Senior Photos with a slightly sassy vibe.

With more than 500’ of boardwalk lined with steel and glass overlooking a yacht-filled harbor, Harbor Point has a city vibe with an up-scale nautical feel – it may be on the water, but there’s nothing beachy about it.

Kasey’s senior session at Harbor Point is one of my all-time favorites. The way her crisp white pants and fiery orange top stand out against the grays and blues of the boardwalk gives off a fun, summery vibe.

On a gorgeous day, there is always sure to be a crowd out enjoying the sun and salty air at Harbor Point, and the day of Kasey’s senior photo session was no exception. It was so much fun taking her photos amid all of the couples walking their dogs and families out enjoying the boardwalk. A lot of people think you have to have a secluded location for senior photos, but nothing could be farther from the truth! Sometimes, having people in the background gives portraits a fun, energetic feeling. But for those shots where I wanted to see Kasey and only Kasey, I knew how to work the angles and soften the background to avoid capturing any distractions.
